Many of the function on the "View" menu are already on the button bar. In fact,
you will probably have noticed by now that your browser usually gives you two or three
different ways of doing the same thing: a button, a menu item and even a "keyboard
shortcut". These keyboard shortcuts are given next to the function's name in the menu
bar. For example, the "View" menu itself shows that Internet Explorer's keyboard
shortcut for "Refresh" is "F5": simply hit the F5 key on your keyboard
to reload the page you are currently viewing.
The "Internet Options" function at the bottom of the "View" menu on
Internet Explorer is where you can change various settings on your browser - for example,
it's where you can change the page you go to whenever you click the "Home"
button. Or you can use the "View" menu to hide the navigation buttons at the top
of your screen (you might want to do this, for example, if you want to see a larger amount
of the Web page in your browser window).
